Grammy nominated actor Carrie Hope Fletcher will be narrating the audiobook of Jacqueline Wilson’s first adult novel, Think Again (Bantam), which will also feature an exclusive Q&A between the author and narrator.
The audiobook will be published alongside the hardback on 12th September 2024 across all major audiobook platforms, including Audible, Spotify and Apple Books, and it’s available to pre-order now.
"Think Again revisits the characters from Wilson’s bestselling Girls series [Corgi Childrens], first introduced to readers in 1997," the synopsis says. "Now approaching 40, Ellie, Magda and Nadine are navigating the complexities of adulthood, which isn’t quite what Ellie Allard dreamed it would be when she was fourteen years old. Her love life is non-existent and she feels like she’s been living on auto-pilot, just grateful to be able to afford the rent. But this year on her birthday, it seems it’s time for all that to change—whether Ellie wants it to or not."
Fletcher has been in numerous musicals in London’s West End, including starring as Eponine and Fantine in "Les Misérables" and originating the role of Veronica Sawyer in "Heathers".
Wilson said: "I am absolutely delighted that Carrie Hope Fletcher will be narrating the audiobook of Think Again. Her talent and charisma will add an extra layer of magic to Ellie, Magda and Nadine’s story. I can’t wait for listeners to experience this new chapter in these characters’ lives through Carrie’s wonderful narration."
