Cheltenham Festivals reveals 2016 dates
Cheltenham Festivals has revealed the dates for its 2016 events, with the literature festival taking place over 7th-16th October.
The themes of this year’s ‘The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival’ will be America and ‘Going to Extremes’ and the organisers have promised “once-in-a-lifetime conversations with some of the world's cultural greats”.
The director of this year’s festival is www.thebookseller.com/news/cheltenham-festivals-appoints-new-directors-315191">Antonia Byatt, who joins the team on 18th January. She replaces Jane Furze, who left the role in September.
The board of Cheltenham has also announced the dates for the Jazz Festival (27th April-2nd May), the Times Cheltenham Science Festival (7th-12th June) and the Music Festival (1st-17th July).
