Coronet has acquired the rights to the final book in Graham Hancock’s non-fiction trilogy, four years after the publication of Magicians of the Gods.
Mark Booth at Coronet bought UK and Commonwealth rights, including Canada, from Sonia Land at Sheil Land Associates to America Before: The Key to Earth’s Lost Civilisation, the final work in the revisionist historian’s trilogy that began with Fingerprints of the Gods in 1995.
The Hodder & Stoughton imprint says America Before presents “a brand-new investigation into the prehistory of the Americas, referencing scientific proof of a long-lost ancient civilisation which began in the Ice Age in the (misnamed) ‘New World’ and then spread around the earth, leaving its traces in ancient monuments such as the Egyptian pyramids and Stonehenge and in the genetic makeup of peoples living as far away as Australia.”
Coronet Publisher Mark Booth said: “I'm proud to be publishing Graham Hancock's America Before, which is the culmination of his work to prove the existence of a lost civilisation. One of the things that makes him the outstanding author in this field is the meticulous fact checking and ability to martial vast numbers of these facts in compelling arguments…. America Before contains many meticulously researched revelations and represents a mighty feat of paradigm shift.”
Coronet will publish America Before: The Key to Earth’s Lost Civilisation on 2nd April at £25.
