Creative Access chief executive Bibi Hilton is leaving the organisation after almost two years in the role to return to the world of PR.
The social enterprise announced her departure with recruitment for a new c.e.o. already under way to instigate “its next phase of transformation” following “a process of internally-focused change”.
The Bookseller understands that Hilton is returning to the world of PR where she worked until 2021 though no other details have been shared about her new position.
Hilton stepped up to the c.e.o. role in May 2022 after originally starting at the social enterprise as director of communications six months before.
Previously she was global engagement director for IPG’s team at Unilever, and from 2015 to 2020 she was m.d. of leading comms and digital agency Golin. She was also president of Women in PR from 2018 to 2020, in which year she received the PRCA Industry Trailblazer award.
Executive chair Josie Dobrin said: “Bibi and our brilliant team have achieved so much together in her time with us and I am incredibly grateful for everything she has brought to Creative Access, driving growth and internally-focused change.
“But with change comes opportunity and Bibi and I both believe that this is an exciting opportunity to bring in a new leader, with fresh ideas, who can give greater external focus to our organisation and our work and we are now starting the search for our new c.e.o.. We wish Bibi all the best in her new role and are looking forward to working with a new leader later this year.”
