US company Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has expanded its publishing operations in London.
The firm, which acquired fellow US agency ICM earlier this year, has brought the agency’s translation rights business in-house.
The London-based rights team is headed up by Helen Manders and Daisy Meyrick alongside Claire Nozieres, Sarah Harvey, Peppa Mignone, Zoe Willis and Devon Lee. Gabby Fetters and Emily Westcott will continue to be based in CAA’s New York office.
Led by Jennifer Joel, Michelle Weiner and Sloan Harris, CAA’s books department also represents the film, television and stage rights to books, short fiction, essays, journalism and podcasts. Authors represented by the agency include Mark Manson, Matthew Perry and Kamala Harris.
The combined CAA and ICM publishing team will be at the Frankfurt Book Fair in Hall 6.2, Booth C47.
CAA was founded in 1975 and prior to the move to London, its main office was in Los Angeles. It has outposts in New York, Nashville, Beijing and Shanghai, with a number of smaller satellite offices in various other cities, including Atlanta, Chicago, Munich, Stockholm and Toronto.
