Crimson Publishing is taking on UK and Eire sales representation responsibility for the Trailblazer Guides from next month.
The books will continue to be distributed by Grantham Book Services on current trading terms in the agreement which begins on 1st September.
Trailblazer has been publishing “practical travel guide books with detailed maps and a strong author voice since 1991”, according to a Crimson spokesperson, with the range now including British walking, adventure travel, worldwide trekking and rail guides.
Crimson’s sales and marketing manager Lyndsey Mayhew said: “We’re delighted to add Trailblazer to our portfolio and are excited about the prospect of working with retailers and wholesalers to continue to achieve strong sales with this successful, well-respected list.”
Crimson is based in Bath and its imprints include Trotman, White Ladder, Pathfinder and Pocket Bibles as well as the Time Out Guides which it took over in 2016.
