Brodie Crellin has been promoted to the role of associate scout at Daniela Schlingmann Literary Scouting, starting immediately.
Formerly executive scouting assistant, Crellin’s new position will see her supporting the adult scouting team, working closely with senior scouts Harriet Egleton and Teresa Pütz, who joined this month.
The agency scouts for more than 50 international publishers and imprints in more than 15 countries, as well as for TV and film production.
"DSLS has grown significantly in the past few years – we’ve taken on several new clients, expanded our scouting remit and made several new appointments to the team," said founder Daniela Schlingmann. "Brodie is an excellent reader and a thoughtful, intuitive and hugely valued colleague, so it feels the perfect moment for her to step up."
Crellin added: "I’m delighted to begin the year by stepping into the role of associate scout at DSLS; it’s a pleasure to have the chance to work with such a supportive team, as well as with a such a varied and exciting network of clients."
