Demosthenous moves from Headline to Bookouture

Christina Demosthenous, currently commissioning editor at Headline, is moving to Bookouture to take up the role of commissioning editor.

Demosthenous will report to publisher Claire Bord, who said: "Christina has a sharp eye for spotting quality commercial talent, combined with a creative and entrepreneurial spirit. We’re thrilled to welcome Christina to the team."

Demosthenous added: "Four happy years at Headline have sharpened my commercial instincts and taught me to think outside the box. It’s with this mindset that I have been marvelling at Bookouture’s commercial prowess over the last few years, admiring the innovation, passion and flair of their publishing. Though I’ll miss my colleagues dearly, the thought of joining the market-leading digital publishers excites me tremendously and I can’t wait to get started."
