American actor Dennis Quaid, who played Bill Clinton in the 2010 TV movie "The Special Relationship", has been cast to narrate the audiobook of The President is Missing by James Patterson and Clinton.
The audiobook will also feature an original score from Emmy-Winning composer Michael Bacon.
“As I read each day I felt like I was right along with the characters for all the shocking twists and turns you’ll never guess are coming,” said Quaid in a statement. “Patterson and Clinton have created a truly unique character in their 'missing' President, and I was honored to be a part of this thrilling production. The President Is Missing puts the listener inside the White House and inside the mind of a President grappling with extraordinary circumstances.”
The news follows a PR and marketing stunt launching the campaign for the book at the London Book Fair. Penguin Random House unveiled a replica Oval Office inside London Olympia and a Donald Trump look-alike made a surprise appearance.
The President is Missing, published by Cornerstone, has sold in 21 territories sold to date and publishes on 4th June.
