DFB signs YA from Dan Freedman

David Fickling Books has bought the first YA novel by Dan Freedman, the author of the Jamie Johnson series (published by Scholastic).

DFB bought world rights to Unstoppable, which is about sport, family, gangs and peer pressure, from Abi Sparrow and Philippa Perry of SP Agency.

Bella Pearson, publishing director at DFB, said: “We are so thrilled to be publishing Dan’s new novel. Unstoppable is thrilling, gritty and hugely accessible, and Dan’s passion to get young people reading shines through the narrative.”

Unstoppable will be published in hardback on 7th February next year, priced £10.99.
