For the week ending 4th April, it was all change in the Bookstat e-book top 10, as nine new entries rushed in. Tracy Buchanan's thriller Wall of Silence (Lake Union) ascended straight to the top spot, joined by two other Amazon-published crime titles in the top three—Elle Marr's The Missing Sister and Thomas Holgate's Rain Will Come.
Nicola May's self-published The Corner Shop in Cockleberry Bay was the only title from the previous week to hang on, joined by its sequel The Gift of Cockleberry Bay, which entered the chart in ninth place.
The publisher e-book chart covered the week ending 28th March, the first week of the UK lockdown. Dean Koontz's The Eyes of Darkness (Headline), the public's pandemic thriller of choice, once again topped the ranking. Hilary Mantel's The Mirror and the Light (Fourth Estate) fell to third, as HarperCollins stablemate Dawn O'Porter's So Lucky hit second place. Anton Du Beke's One Enchanted Evening (Zaffre) waltzed into ninth.
