DK is moving with its sister company Penguin Random House UK from 80 Strand to One Embassy Gardens in the Nine Elms development.
DK has taken up a lease option for three floors at One Embassy Gardens in London and will move by 2020, the company said.
Ian Hudson, DK c.e.o., said: “We are delighted to be moving to One Embassy Gardens with our Penguin Random House UK colleagues. This is a wonderful new space at the heart of one of London’s most exciting new developments.”
Embassy Gardens is a new riverside district, located in Nine Elms in central London, between Vauxhall and Battersea. Also moving there at the end of 2019 are Michael Joseph and Penguin Random House Children’s, both previously based at the Strand; Transworld, moving from its site in Ealing; and Vintage, moving from VBR.
Nine Elms is one of the largest regeneration projects in Europe, with over £15bn investment. A new London Underground station is currently under construction in Nine Elms as part of the Northern line extension to Battersea.
