Stephanie Milner has been appointed as the publishing director for Pavilion, which was recently acquired by HarperCollins.
Milner joins from DK, where she is senior acquisitions editor. She will take up the new role on 9th May, reporting to executive publisher of HQ and Mills & Boon Lisa Milton.
At DK, Milner created and led a new strand of publishing including chart-topping and award-winning narrative and illustrated titles such as What Mummy Makes by Rebecca Wilson, Finch Bakery by Lauren and Rachel Finch, Nature is a Human Right edited by Ellen Miles and Ayla by Santosh Shah. Milner previously led the food and drink list at Pavilion, publishing key titles including MOB Kitchen, Mad About the House and Asma’s Indian Kitchen.
Milner said: “Returning to the powerhouse that is Pavilion, now nestled within HarperCollins, is a dream come true. I’m so excited to join Lisa and the team to build on an already prestigious list that has always pushed the boundaries in quality, design and package and now has more opportunity than ever to deliver both award-winning and bestselling books. Pavilion will be a creative home for a community of food and drink, craft and lifestyle authors and brands and we have ambitious plans to grow the list.”
