Alice Duijser has been appointed as VitalSource's managing director for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, replacing John Donovan.
Donovan has departed to take up a role as v.p. for markets and products (EMEA) at McGraw Hill.
Duijser was most recently global marketing director for Taylor & Francis, where she is said to have helped shape the company’s strategic direction for course content for the higher education sector and successfully implemented a digital-first approach to market. Before that, she spent 15 years at McGraw Hill where her most recent role was as divisional director, launching the company's adaptive learning and immersive learning products to the Europe and South Africa markets.
"With her global perspective and strong commercial focus, Alice has been responsible for leading the transition from print publishing to digital enabled learning solutions for today’s higher education students", said VitalSource.
