European sales and marketing agency Durnell Marketing, which represents a range of international publishing houses, has acquired sales agency Avicenna Partnership, which operates in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region.
According to Durnell, the acquisition will mean "significant growth opportunities in the MENA region". The two companies’ advanced software solutions and data-driven insights will be integrated and Durnell explained this will "enhance the quality and efficiency of customer interactions, benefiting existing and new clients alike".
James Dunphy, managing director at Durnell Marketing, said: "We are extremely excited about the opportunities that lie ahead with Avicenna. Bill and his colleagues have done an incredible job establishing and maintaining a solid presence in the MENA region, and we’re eager to build upon their success. Together, we aim to optimize the flow of information, deepen client relationships, and drive strong sales growth throughout the territory."
Bill Kennedy, founding director of Avicenna said: "I am equally excited about this succession plan for Avicenna. Having known and respected the Durnell team for many years, sharing so many publishers in common and being able to work closely with them during this transition/integration, it’s my belief that customers and client publishers alike will benefit hugely."
