Rebecca Durose-Croft has been promoted to managing director for education at Westchester Publishing Services.
Durose-Croft joined the education division in 2020 as its content and services director and was “instrumental” in the development of a comprehensive range of services for education clients, including the culturally responsive education review, international curricula mapping, STEM, ELT, literacy, humanities and social science programme development, digital and multimedia production, and project management.
As managing director she will continue to oversee production operations for new and existing UK and international education publisher and edtech clients. Additionally, she will work closely with c.e.o. Tim Davies, across all of Westchester UK’s operations to further plan and implement the publisher’s growth strategy in the UK and international education sectors.
Davies said: “Rebecca’s contribution to the growth of our education division over the past two years has been substantial. Her appointment as managing director, education, is an exciting development and along with our acquisition of River Editorial last year, represents another significant step in the evolution of Westchester Publishing Services UK.”
Durose-Croft said she was “delighted and honoured” with the promotion, adding: “I look forward to working with our teams to grow our already extensive and varied education client portfolio, building on the outstanding work we do across our range of services for UK and International education publishers, and edtech firms.”
