Dynamo to release magic guide with Blink Publishing

Blink Publishing is to release a fully-illustrated guide to modern magic by magician Dynamo.

Kelly Ellis, editorial director at Kings Road Publishing, acquired world rights from Inner Circle to Dynamo: The Book of Secrets. It will be published under the Blink Publishing imprint on the 2nd of November 2017.

In the book the 34-year-old magician from Bradford reveals how readers can perform magic themselves – from freezing water in an instant and reading minds to passing a pencil through a coin.

Dynamo, whose real name is Steven Frayne, said: “I’ve been fascinated with magic since I was a young kid so I’m incredibly proud to be able to pass down some of what I’ve learnt to the next generation. Magic is a powerful tool when used in the right way, especially for young people as it helps to develop patience and confidence and is ultimately a skill you can take anywhere.”

Ellis said he title will offer fans and budding magicians an “insight into the inner workings” of Dynamo’s mind.

“It will give young people everywhere, as well as their friends and families, the chance to discover the power of real magic and the life-changing effects it can have,” she said.  

Dynamo has previously released a memoir, Nothing Is Impossible: My Story, with Ebury.
