Ebury fiction publishing director Gillian Green is joining Pan Macmillan on a 12-month maternity leave contract.
Green will join as publishing director on 6th April, succeeding Vicki Mellor after she goes on leave in March.
Reporting to associate publisher Wayne Brookes, she will work alongside adult publisher Jeremy Trevathan with authors including Jeffrey Archer and Ken Follett as well as looking after Mellor's authors and list. She will also commission new authors in the crime, thriller and women's fiction genres for the Pan Fiction list.
Green joined Ebury in 2003 to launch the division’s commercial fiction lists, running Ebury Press Fiction and Del Rey. An experienced senior commercial fiction editor, she publishes across crime fiction, SFF and speculative fiction, historical fiction, women's fiction and sagas. Her authors have included bestsellers Andy Weir, Rowan Coleman and Antonio Iturbe’s The Librarian of Auschwitz.
