DK has appointed Ed Christie as sales director for the UK & Group.
For the last three months, Christie has been acting interim sales director, UK & Group, at DK. He replaces Ian Moore, who left DK in December to start a new life with his family in Cornwall.
Christie now joins permanently and will be part of DK's senior leadership team, reporting to c.e.o. Ian Hudson, and responsible for UK sales, inventory and group territories.
Christie most recently worked for Penguin Random House UK, where he led the UK sales teams for Cornerstone, Vintage, Ebury, Transworld and Audio, as well as having the lead sales director role with Amazon.
Hudson, c.e.o. of DK, said: “We are delighted that Ed is joining DK. With over 20 years of sales and marketing experience, Ed is an exceptional sales professional, with strong leadership skills and a reputation for nurturing and developing talent. Ed will ensure we continue to build first-class partnerships with all of our customers, as we seek to support their needs and grow our sales.”
Christie said: “I am thrilled to be joining DK and working with the exceptional team of people and the brilliant publishing which DK is renowned for.”
