Quentin Ellis is taking up the role of commercial director at Spiracle Audiobooks, having previously worked for the company when it was first being established.
As a digital strategist, he had helped structure and design the company’s initial web platform, as well as envisioning the organisation that Spiracle has become today. He is a mobile app specialist and has a wealth of commercial experience in digital marketing and sales.
In his new role, Ellis will be working to increase the company’s subscribers, drive its global sales and partnerships and collaborate ever more closely with publishers.
Ellis said: "I’m glad to return to Spiracle at this stage in the company’s life. It’s the right time to optimise digital functionality while strengthening the company’s premise of curation and independence. We want to see sustainable growth over the next three years which will depend on excellent marketing and a reliable, transparent service, high quality products and an ever stronger brand.
"There is room for innovation on both sides — user and developer — and I want to ensure our platform stays ahead of the curve to deliver top-notch customer and publisher experience."
