'Exceptional talent' Davies promoted at Orion

Cait Davies above is stepping up from head of marketing at Orion to deputy marketing director with immediate effect.  She will continue to report into and work alongside marketing director Lynsey Sutherland to lead the marketing team and strategy at Orion as well as deliver campaigns for authors. 

Since joining the team in 2017, Davies has been responsible for delivering brand campaigns and growth for some of Orion’s biggest authors, including Michael Connelly, Joe Abercrombie and Simon Sebag Montefiore, as well as spearheading marketing campaigns for the likes of Candice Carty-Williams’ Queenie, Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Philippe Sands’ The Ratline. She recently won a Highly Commended from the Book Marketing Society for her work on Accidentally Wes Anderson.
