Faber is to publish Access all Areas: The Diversity Manifesto for TV and Beyond by comedian and writer Sir Lenny Henry and media diversity specialist Marcus Ryder next year.
Publisher Walter Donohue acquired world all languages rights for the book from Peter Bennett-Jones at PBJ Management.
The book interrogates why current diversity initiatives are failing, and highlights the structural and financial imbalances "working against the cause", providing solutions to shift the debate in society and the media.
Henry said: "This book is the culmination of many curries, coffees and heated debates. Marcus and I go way back with the Diversity issue—this book is a deep dive into our thinking, our history and also, perhaps, a road map to a more level playing field."
Faber published Henry's autobiography Who Am I, Again? last year. Donohue said: "At this seminal moment, where we’ve seen a reckoning with racism and injustice, Faber is honoured to continue its relationship with Lenny Henry on a struggle with which he has been involved for the past seven years."
The book will be published on 7th January 2021.
