Mary Cannam, c.e.o. of Faber said: "We have been extremely impressed with the HarperCollins team and the pride they feel in their long history in Glasgow is clear. We will miss our friends at GBS, but we are pleased to have found such a good partner for the future."
Gordon Scott, managing director of the HarperCollins supply chain, added: "We are delighted and excited in equal measures to be taking on distribution responsibilities for the Faber list alongside those of their fellow Alliance publishers.
