Faber Music to distribute Neil A Kjos Music Company titles

Faber Music Distribution is to become the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for musical education publisher the Neil A. Kjos Music Company.

The US-based firm publishes a range of music books, including the Standard of Excellence Comprehensive Band Method series.

From 1st July it will join a Faber Music roster of distributed publishers including Alfred Music, Edition Peters, Bärenreiter, Trinity College London Press, Sher Music, Jamey Aebersold Jazz and Weinberger.

Faber Music sales director Hilary Griffin said:  “The Kjos catalogue – and the Bastien Piano Method in particular – has been long-established in the UK market and we’re thrilled to have entered into a new, exclusive UK & Ireland distribution agreement for the whole range of Kjos publications. We look forward to working closely both with our customers and with the Kjos team in the US, to extend the range and reach of the catalogue and, in turn, to grow the business here in the UK.”
