Farshore to release Barroux's Welcome as free e-book in response to Ukraine refugee crisis
Farshore is releasing Barroux’s critically acclaimed picture book Welcome as a free e-book from today, in support of those affected by the refugee crisis in Ukraine.
The publisher said the resource would help adults and children discuss the displacement of children and families from Ukraine.
Barroux said: “I wrote Welcome in response to the situation of refugees around the world who are forced to leave their homes because they fear for their safety.
"I hope that this new e-book edition of Welcome provides a gentle, creative way for parents and teachers to talk to children about the war in Ukraine and the trauma that war inflicts on families.”
