Scottish author Claire McFall’s Ferryman trilogy has sold in 14 territories since the film rights were bought by Legendary Entertainment in January, says Ben Illis, founder of the Ben Illis Agency (BIA).
The series, which has sold modestly in the UK, has been a hit for publisher Baihuazhou Art & Literature in China, where it has sold over a million units.
Margot Edwards, founder at The Rights Consultancy, on behalf of BIA, has sold the series in French (Michel Lafon), Chinese Complex (Taiwan’s Yuan-Liou) and 12 other territories.
