Fiona Scoble has been appointed head of editorial at Sweet Cherry (SCP), and joins the publisher after almost nine years spent at Nosy Crow, with her most recent position being senior editor.
"I’m thrilled to be joining the hugely talented Sweet Cherry team," she said. "I’ve long admired their exciting publishing and their commitment to making great stories accessible to all children. I’m very much looking forward to working with their brilliant authors and illustrators and to bringing new titles to their innovative, fun and child-centric list."
Publisher Sanjee de Silva added: "We’re ecstatic to have Fiona joining us from Nosy Crow. She is a cherry through-and-through—she’s enthusiastic, she brings fresh ideas, and she really knows her stuff! I for one cannot wait to see what magic she rustles up."
Scoble is taking the reins from Sam Robinson, who moved on from SCP earlier in the year.
