Formara, UK-based print and marketing communications company, has joined the print and paper advocacy group Two Sides.
Two Sides is a not-for-profit global initiative which promotes the "unique sustainable and attractive attributes of print, paper and paper packaging".
Formara was founded as a print company in 1971, and now in addition to printing services, they will be offering clients integrated marketing and communications campaigns across print and digital platforms.
Formara’s paper is sourced from sustainable suppliers to sustainability regulations as well as the UK Timber Regulations.
By joining Two Sides, Formara has access to a library of co-brandable communications tools, consumer research, industry-leading information, sustainability advice and events. Formara also explained the company is also reducing its reliance on single-use plastics and is aiming to reduce the use of plastics in all of their packaging within two years.
Russell Turner, marketing executive for Formara, said: "Formara is delighted to become a member of Two Sides. In 2006, we were one of the first printing companies in the UK to gain the accreditation ‘Environmental Standard ISO14001’. This early commitment to responsible environmental management set objectives that paved the way for continual improvements to reduce our impact on the world we live in. Through Carbon Offsetting we balanced our CO2 emissions. However, we are now more interested in avoidance measures and renewable energy generation to help combat climate change and sustain our environment for future generations."

Our partnership with them will help us communicate the great environmental story that print and paper has to tell, reaching many brands and consumers through their print on demand, direct marketing, direct mail and fulfilment solutions. It is always a pleasure to welcome new members and we look
forward to working with Formara moving forward."
