Curtis Brown agent Enrichetta Frezzato will judge this year’s £5,000 Bath Children’s Novel Award for emerging authors.
Founded in 2014, the award seeks to spotlight and celebrate emerging authors and is shortlisted by an international team of children and teens. Recipients include Struan Murray for Orphans of the Tide and Matthew Fox for The Sky Over Rebecca.
Frezzato said: “I am honoured to judge the next Bath Children’s Novel Award. Over the years, it has been the stepping stone in so many brilliant writers’ careers and I’ve been a long-time admirer of the spirit and quality of the awards.”
The Bath Children’s Novel Award 2024 is now open for entry until 30th November 2024. It is open to children’s novels, YA and picture book texts by unagented authors worldwide and will be awarded in February 2025.
