Gemini Books Group announces new appointments to senior management team

Gemini Books Group has appointed Zoë Caulfield, Adrian Greenwood and Steve Munnings to its senior management team.  

Gemini was launched in December 2023 by Marcus Leaver, formerly president of Sterling Publishing, chief executive officer of The Quarto Group and co-founder of the Welbeck Publishing Group. He formed Gemini Books Group with the acquisitions of Imagine That!, Palazzo Editions, Ad Lib Publishers, Mardle Books and Pimpernel Press.   

Caulfield has been appointed executive director, North American sales, and will also oversee the foreign and subsidiary rights team. She left Hachette UK in December 2023, having been instrumental to the integration of Welbeck Publishing Group following Hachette’s acquisition in 2022. Prior to Welbeck, Caulfield was at Penguin Random House for 12 years, where she ran the custom publishing department. 

Greenwood has been appointed executive director, UK and worldwide sales. Greenwood has worked in UK and international sales for over 20 years, most recently as sales director for Magic Cat. He has previously worked for Laurence King, Michael O’Mara and Quarto. 

Munnings has been appointed group commercial director. He has been sales director of Imagine That! for 10 years. In his new role, Munnings will head Gemini’s commercial team with responsibility for sales operations, inventory control and business development. He will also take on the role of publisher at Two Windmills, Gemini’s value books and toys business, launching later this year.

And in Steve, we are adding to the team one of the most tenacious sales people I have worked with.”
