Georgia Amson-Bradshaw has joined Quarto Kids as associate publisher, specialising in non-fiction and novelty for Wide Eyed Editions and Frances Lincoln Children’s Books.
Amson-Bradshaw joined the company after publisher Rachel Williams left to go freelance.
In her new role Amson-Bradshaw is specialising in publishing non-fiction and novelty titles on the Wide Eyed Editions and Frances Lincoln Children’s Books lists. She is working alongside Katie Cotton, who is publisher for picture books for the two imprints.
Ken Fund, c.o.o. of Quarto, said: “This is a strong time for children’s publishing and we are thrilled to have such experts in non-fiction and picture books focusing on exciting new commissioning across both lists.”
Amson-Bradshaw was previously freelance and helped launch another Quarto imprint, Ivy Kids. She has commissioned a number of non-fiction series,including Shine-A-Light, Eye Benders, and This Book Thinks.
Williams decided to go freelance for family reasons but will continue to work with Quarto, the company said.
