“The Graham Norton Book Club” returns to Audible for a fourth series today (Thursday, 26th January). It will feature Alan Bennett and Gabrielle Zevin.
Norton will again be joined by journalist Alex Clark and author Sara Collins as alternating co-hosts, with a line-up spanning the worlds of literature, film, TV and podcasting.
The series will run across 10 episodes on which Norton will be joined by stars including comedian Al Murray, actors Richard Armitage and Nicola Walker, and former TV fashion guru Susannah Constantine. A host of renowned writers will be featuring on the podcast, including Emma Donoghue to discuss her book Room (Picador) alongside David Baldacci for Memory Man (Macmillan), Booker Prize longlistee Leila Mottley for Nightcrawling (Bloomsbury), Julia Armfield for Our Wives Under the Sea (Picador), former Children’s Laureate Michael Rosen for The Disappearance of Émile Zola (Faber & Faber), award-winning journalist Saima Mir for The Khan (Point Blank), short story writer Tobias Wolff for Old School (Bloomsbury), Nobel Prize recipient Orhan Pamuk for My Name is Red (Faber & Faber), author and screenwriter Gabrielle Zevin for Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow (Chatto & Windus) and twice Bafta winner Alan Bennett for The Uncommon Reader (Profile).
Norton will interview a host of stars from the worlds of comedy, film and TV, fashion, music and journalism about their own writing careers. They will include Bill Bryson, presenter Konnie Huq for Fearless Fairytales (Piccadilly Press) and podcaster and former monk Jay Shetty for 8 Rules of Love (HarperCollins).
