Granta Books has launched a new, fully-searchable digital book collection in partnership with digital publishing company Exact Editions.
The selection of titles in the new Granta Books Collection platform gives global subscribers access to books geared towards international scholars and students, and acts as an accompaniment to the complete archive of Granta magazine.
Among the 40 titles are What Do Druids Believe? by Philip Carr-Gomm, How To Read Joyce by Derek Attridge, Dope Girls by Marek Kohn, Enslaved by Rahila Gupta and Beslan by Timothy Phillips.
"We’re delighted to have these books in such an appealing digital format," said commercial director Noel Murphy. "The new collection certainly complements the 150-issue strong archive of the magazine, and we’re looking forward to increasing the global audience of both products."
The platform’s advanced search function enables users to pinpoint references to specific authors and topics across both individual titles and the complete collection. Contents pages are also fully linked.
Subscriptions are available to both individuals and institutions, including unlimited access to more than 40 titles across web, iOS and Android devices.
Daryl Rayner, managing director of Exact Editions, said: “Granta magazine has proved to be a popular resource in universities and other educational institutions around the world. We will continue to work closely with the publisher to also expand the audience of the new book collection in the institutional market, striving to achieve their goal of sharing high-quality writing as far and wide as possible.”
