Zöe Griffiths has been appointed as editorial director for fiction at Nosy Crow.
Griffiths will start the newly-created role on 3rd October, reporting to publishing director for fiction Kirsty Stansfield.
Moving from Bloomsbury Children’s Books, where she is currently editorial director, Griffiths will be actively commissioning new titles as well as working with and supporting established authors on the Nosy Crow list.
She said: “I am completely thrilled to be joining the hugely talented team at Nosy Crow. I have long been an admirer of their dynamic, high-quality and child-centric publishing. I’m very much looking forward to working with their existing brilliant authors and illustrators, as well as finding some fresh and exciting new creatives to bring to the list.”
Stansfield added: “I’m really looking forward to welcoming Zöe to Nosy Crow. She brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the fiction list, as well as a clever acquiring eye, and we’re all keen to get cracking. Exciting times!”
