Grist Taylor made publisher at Quiller

Quiller Publishing has appointed Clare Grist Taylor to the role of publisher.

Grist Taylor, formerly business and operations director at Profile Books, will have responsibility for commissioning new titles and working with existing authors across all imprints.

Managing director Andrew Johnson said he was delighted with Grist Taylor's appointment at a time of growth and diversification at the company.

"Clare brings a wealth of experience from her more than 30 years in publishing, including a previous position at Profile Books and more recent consultancy and training work", said Johnston. "She is ideally placed to both introduce new authors and to develop our existing core niche subject areas."

Grist Taylor added: "I have long admired Andrew and the team at Quiller and, as an indie publisher to my fingertips, I'm thrilled to be joining one of the best. I can't wait to get to know better existing authors and books, to bring in new projects and to explore new opportunities."
