Guinness World Records has revealed the cover of its next edition and launched a competition for one lucky reader to appear on it.
The 2021 book, released later this year, features a jacket that took illustrator Rod Hunt 300 hours to create. It features drawings of more than 200 different records from the largest monster truckand to the fastest sofa.
A spokesman for the firm said: “The fully redesigned and updated best-seller is packed with thousands of incredible new feats and remarkable achievements that will allow readers to discover the world around them.”
One reader will have the chance to appear on the cover, drawn jumping on to the largest whoopie cushion, as part of a launch competition.
Readers can enter the contest from today (5th March) and have until 26th March to put their name forward. The winner will be announced soon afterwards.
