Rosie Gurtovoy has been promoted to agent in the Film and Television department at Peters Fraser + Dunlop.
She joined PFD in 2018 as the books intern before moving into the Film and Television department. She was made associate agent in 2021 and also handles stage rights at PFD.
On being promoted, she said: “Having joined PFD as an intern, it’s been such a rewarding place to grow and develop my career. I look forward to building on the existing great work that we’ve been doing in the film, TV and stage department.
“The crossover of books and dramatic rights is such a dynamic area to be working in at the moment, and I’m so excited for what’s to come."
Caroline Michel, c.e.o. of PFD, commented: “We are thrilled to promote Rosie to agent in the Film and Television department at PFD. The growth of the department is a tribute to the business that Jonathan [Sissons, film and TV agent] and Rosie and have developed, increasing the book into film business by over 200% in the last three years.”
Sissons described Gurtovoy as “an invaluable partner and support in the growth of the film and TV department since joining three years ago". He said: “She is whip-smart, a shrewd negotiator and a joy to work with. This is truly a well-earned promotion to reflect all her hard work and accomplished handling of rights here.”
