Hachette’s Pride Network is holding an event at Waterstones’ flagship Piccadilly store during the run-up to Pride in London featuring 17 of the publisher’s LGBTQ+ authors.
The network, part of the group’s Changing the Story diversity and inclusion programme, will host Pride in Writing on 4th July from 6.30pm to 8.30pm in partnership with Waterstones.
Compered by Stella Duffy, there will be appearances from authors including Patrick Gale, Amy Lamé, Luke Turner and Niven Govinden.
Structured into four sections, the event will discuss how the authors explore relevant themes in their writing, from politics to history, gender fluidity to queering genre writing.
The event will run across two hours, including breaks, with a drink on the door and opportunities to chat to authors in break-out areas across the store.
Tickets are from £8 to £6 and available online.
