HQ digital's Hannah Smith is to join Head of Zeus imprint Aria as commissioning editor later this month.
Smith joined HarperCollins as an editorial assistant in July 2016, before being promoted to assistant editor in Septemebr 2017.
Aria publisher Caroline Ridding said: "We are delighted to welcome Hannah to the team, she brings with her terrific experience in digital publishing and a huge passion for commercial fiction. Digital remains one of the most fast-moving, innovative and exciting areas of publishing, and Hannah will be working closely with the wider Aria team to drive the imprint to even greater success."
Smith said: "While I've had an exciting couple of years at HQ, I am thrilled to be joining team Aria in July. Aria have grown incredibly over the past two years and I've long admired the work that they've been doing, they have such brilliant talent on the list, I can't wait to get started."
Smith will join the company on 23rd July.
Aria is the e-first commercial fiction imprint from Head of Zeus. Its first titles were launched in April 2016 and it has just passed the 100 titles published milestone, with over two million copies sold, said the publisher.
