Todd represents adult commercial fiction writers, with clients including Kirsty Greenwood, ex-editorial director Eve Hall and Melanie Hudson. She will have a particular focus on romance, mysteries and SFF within the commercial fiction space, and will work alongside Hayley Steed on building the commercial arm of the agency, and the wider primary agenting team of Will Francis, Claire Paterson-Conrad, Julia Eagleton and Emma Leong.
Todd said: “I have loved my time at the Madeleine Milburn agency. They took a chance on this editor turning to agenting, and it totally changed my life, so I can’t thank them enough! I’ll miss everyone there so much, but I’m really excited for this next step. I am delighted to be starting the new year with this new role at Janklow & Nesbit; The team are so impressive, and I’ve long admired them, so I am over the moon to count myself amongst their number. I can’t wait to keep building my list here.”
Will Francis, managing director of Janklow & Nesbit UK, said: “We knew Hannah was exactly the agent our team in London needed. She is so talented, and we couldn’t be happier or more excited that she’s come to J&N.”
Madeleine Milburn said: “Hannah has been a wonderful colleague and we wish her all the best in the next stage of her agenting career, which she began with an explosion of enthusiasm and energy here at MMA. We’ll miss her, but also look forward to seeing her flourish.”
