HarperCollins Children’s has signed a new four-book deal with picture book creator Rob Biddulph.
The deal, which includes two more stories in the Dinosaur Juniors series and two standalone titles, was signed by publisher Rachel Denwood and publishing director Alice Blacker, who acquired world rights from Jodie Hodges at United Agents.
Biddulph said: “I'm delighted to have signed a deal to make another four books with my fabulous HarperCollins family. I really love working with everybody on the team and genuinely feel that right now I couldn’t be in better hands. We’re all hugely excited about the stories we will produce over the next year or two and I can’t wait to get started.”
HarperCollins published Biddulph’s debut picture book Blown Away, which won the Waterstones Children's Book of the Year award, in 2014. Biddulph has since published several titles, including GRRRRR!, Odd Dog Out and Sunk!, and will be the official World Book Day Illustrator in 2019 and 2020.
