HarperCollins has bought two more non-fiction titles from Ant Middleton, kicking off with Mental Fitness in November this year.
Jack Fogg negotiated a deal for world all language rights with Amanda Harris at YMU. The first of the two titles, Mental Fitness, will publish on 25th November, with the second book to come in 2023.
HarperCollins said: “In Mental Fitness, Ant shows readers how to work their way towards physical wellbeing while offering hard-won advice about how to strengthen their mindset, all designed to increase resilience, positivity and the ability to push themselves to the limit.”
Mental Fitness will be Middleton's fourth book, following the success of previous titles First Man In, The Fear Bubble and Zero Negativity. All three were Sunday Times number one bestsellers, they have now sold over 1.6 million copies between them, according to the publisher. Through Nielsen BookScan he has sold just under 933,000 print units for £8.1m in the UK.
Middleton said: “It's been great to work with Jack, Isabel, Orlando, and the whole team at HarperCollins on my number one bestselling trilogy. The feedback I get from readers blows me away, and I am truly humbled to read daily posts about how the books have inspired people to change their lives, step towards challenges and believe in a positive mindset. Those comments spur me on to explore all routes to positivity. Mental Fitness brings something very new to my readers as it connects the mind with the body and maps out a plan to physical and mental strength, and wellbeing.”
Fogg added: “It’s been a great pleasure working alongside Ant on his last three books and to have seen the incredible impact they’ve had on his readership. I’m delighted to be continuing that partnership on these books and hope that he will continue publishing his brilliant and inspirational books long into the future.”
