HarperFiction has made a string of changes to its publicity and marketing teams, including promotions for Felicity Denham and Jaime Witcomb [pictured right], plus the appointment of Jennifer Harlow from Headline.
Denham has been made head of PR for general fiction and estates after campaigns for authors including Kimberley Chambers and Lindsey Kelk. She also successfully helped launch the careers of debut writers Sarah J Harris and Charlotte Philby.
Witcomb steps up as head of PR for crime/thriller and Voyager. Witcomb, who masterminded the Eleanor Oliphant press campaign, works with authors including George R R Martin, Stuart MacBride and Charles Cumming.
Meanwhile, Harlow joins the team as senior press officer. In her previous role at Headline, she worked across fiction and non-fiction, steering Daisy Buchanan’s The Sisterhood campaign alongside books by Patrick Gale, Maggie O’Farrell and Victoria Hislop.
In the marketing team, there have been three promotions. Fleur Clarke is promoted to head of brand marketing, with a focus on leading the marketing strategy for the Voyager and Estates list, after her work on campaigns for George R R Martin and J R R Tolkien.
Katy Blott becomes senior marketing executive after work on titles from Eleanor Oliphant to The Binding. Ellie Wood is is promoted to marketing executive, following her work on authors including Kimberley Chambers and A J Finn.
