HarperFire is launching The Alice Oseman Pop-Up: Enter the Osemanverse, an exclusive fan experience, with input from all of Oseman’s UK publishers, including Hachette Children’s Group and Laurence King.
Taking place on Friday 5th July to Sunday 7th July in Shoreditch, London, the pop-up is pitched as an "exclusive and interactive of Alice’s entire collection of work" from their novels, such as Solitaire and Loveless, to the Heartstopper graphic novel series. The pop-up will be open on a first-come first-served basis between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th July and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday 7th July.
The pop-up will include an art station and a photo area as well as the opportunity to receive "exclusive goodies". As part of a wider partnership, bubble tea shop MooBoo will be on-site offering complimentary "Nick and Charlie" themed bubble tea and Waterstones, Gower Street, will run an on-site bookshop with early copies of the This Winter reissue, made available by HarperFire two months ahead of the offical publication date. Readers will also have the opportunity to submit their Oseman-inspired artwork ahead of the event for display on the "fan art wall". Full details on how to submit can be found on the HarperFire website and socials.
Oseman commented: "I’m so thrilled about the upcoming Alice Oseman Pop-Up. With exclusive goodies, books, an art station, photo area, and much more, it’s going to be a one-of-a-kind event for my readers, and I couldn’t be more excited."
Editorial Director Tom Bonnick added: "We are incredibly proud to have been the home of Alice’s extraordinary, beloved YA fiction for 10 years now – a milestone recently celebrated with a stunning 10th anniversary hardback edition of Alice’s ground-breaking debut, Solitaire. We have incredibly exciting plans and some big surprises in store for 2024, 2025 and beyond to celebrate her writing. This pop-up will be an unmissable event for all fans, old and new, to rejoice in Alice’s work and enter the Osemanverse!"
