HarperVoyager celebrated winning Imprint of the Year at the British Book Awards 2023 at a bash at the British Library on Thursday evening (16th November).
Natasha Bardon, publisher, also won Editor of the Year at the awards ceremony and R F Kuang’s Babel, published by the imprint, took Fiction Book of the Year.
Authors Jay Kristoff, whose Empire of the Vampire was shortlisted for Fiction Book of the Year at the British Book Awards 2022, Hannah Kaner, author of Godkiller and Saara El-Arifi, author of the Ending Fire trilogy, attended the celebration alongside agents and booksellers.
Bardon commented: "The growth of HarperVoyager over the last five years has been phenomenal thanks to the incredible authors and team behind the books. It’s brilliant to come together at the end of this record-breaking year to thank the people who made it happen. It is an incredibly exciting time for the genre and we’re proud to be leading the charge. Next year is set to be another incredible year, with an unrivalled line-up of returning legends and rising stars — and we look forward to celebrating 30 years of legendary Voyager publishing in 2025."
