Headline has acquired Gmorning, Gnight!, a book sharing the best motivational pep talks from the creator of the musical "Hamilton", Lin-Manuel Miranda.
Miranda is an award-winning composer, lyricist and performer, best known for his work on the Pulitzer-winning West End musical "Hamilton". He also has contributed to music, lyrics and vocals to Disney’s film "Moana" and is soon be a lead star in the BBC’s adaptation of His Dark Materials.
In his book, the best of his motivational pep talks will be turned into "a charming and beautifully-illustrated collection" to provide "a touchstone for anyone in need of a lift". The book comes with illustrations from Canadian humorist, author and illustrator Jonny Sun.
It publishes in the UK in 16th October, after senior commissioning editor Fiona Crosby bought UK and Commonwealth rights (excluding Canada) from Simon Trewin at WME on behalf of Andy McNicol in WME’s NY office. In the US, it will be released by Random House, after North American rights were sold to Random House V.P. and executive editor Ben Greenberg.
