Book marketing and TikTok expert Georgia Henry is launching The Pitch Agency, which promises to “harness the power of digital to deliver high-impact campaigns with an audience-first approach”.
Henry helped launch the first publishing creator houses and worked with TikTok on their first book awards.
The Pitch Agency will service clients across both the UK and US, building on Henry’s “passion and expertise” which “lies in working directly and closely with partners across the book industry, serving where needed as an arm of their in-house marketing team for busy clients to lean on when needed”.
Henry said: “Across my years in the industry I have built an understanding of business models within publishing and the challenges that my clients are facing in the ever-changing digital landscape. I’ve created The Pitch Agency to make lives easier, to collaborate with my clients to bring creative ideas to life.”
BookTok UK, Ireland and Nordics programme manager Caley Routledge said: "Georgia has been an integral partner in the formation of the TikTok Book Awards. She’s been able to pair extensive knowledge of the publishing industry with a deep understanding of TikTok. I’m excited to see her continued work with the BookTok community."
Alesha Bonser, marketing director at Bloomsbury Children’s Books, added: “She is proactive and innovative, forever seeking new opportunities for her clients and campaigns. I’m looking forward to working with her as she launches and builds her own agency.”
Henry previously worked as head of publishing at youth marketing agency We Are Rocket.
