Holly Harley has been appointed non-fiction editorial director at Head of Zeus’ Apollo imprint, starting on 21st October.
Harley, currently editorial director of non-fiction at Little, Brown, has established herself as a commissioner of popular science, history and smart thinking titles. She has published authors like Alice Roberts, Will Storr, Adam Rutherford and Nedra Glover Tawwab.
She said: "It has been a joy and privilege to work with some exceptional authors and colleagues in my five years at Little, Brown and across Hachette. But the opportunity to join Head of Zeus at this exciting moment is irresistible. I can’t wait to join the team and be part of the future of a list I’ve admired for a long time."
Publishing director Iain MacGregor added: "We are thrilled that someone of Holly’s calibre will be joining our excellent team at Apollo to expand our subject range. We already enjoy bestselling success with a number of existing authors, such as Will Hutton, Richard Dawkins and Dan Jones. The expansion of the Apollo non-fiction team to incorporate Holly’s skills and tastes marks another step in our journey to be a core imprint within the Bloomsbury family."
Holly’s email at Head of Zeus will be holly.harley@headofzeus.com
