Tomasz Hoskins has been appointed publisher at Bloomsbury Continuum, as Robin Baird-Smith takes on the role of senior publisher.
Sarah Jones has joined the Continuum editorial team as project editor.
Hoskins (pictured), who has most recently worked at I B Tauris and Zed Books, will start his new role with the imprint on 22nd November.
"I’m delighted to have been entrusted with the chance to build on Continuum’s reputation over the last decade for serious, seriously readable non-fiction," Hoskins said. "I’ll be commissioning new voices and looking for fresh ideas across politics, current affairs, biography, travel and history, and above all for books that inform as well as entertain. There is a real hunger for quality non-fiction from readers around the world at the moment, and I can't wait to get started."
Baird-Smith, who has stepped up to senior publisher, said: "I am delighted to announce the appointment of Tomasz Hoskins as publisher for the imprint. Tomasz has many years of publishing experience and I am excited at the prospect of this fine editor taking the list forward to an even brighter future."
The imprint will publish books by A N Wilson, Ferdinand Mount, Rowan Williams and Jimi Famurewa, among others, in 2022.
