Hot Key Books is hosting an event as part of Dyslexia Awareness Week, with a panel discussion to take place at the Free Word Centre, east London.
The event, "Seeing the World Differently: A Celebration of Reading and Dyslexia", will be held on 11th October at 7pm.
Author Sally Gardner, the Times' book critic Amanda Craig and Booktrust books and disability consultant Alexandra Strick will be undertaking a discussion about Gardner's new novel, Maggot Moon, and showcase Hot Key Books' multi-touch iBook version of the book, which is built using dyslexia-friendly fonts and backgrounds. It also features video interviews with Gardner and dyslexia examples aiming to show people what it’s like to see the world as a dyslexic.
The event is free and will be followed by a book signing and a drinks reception.
